This video is part of a a series of exploratory studies on animal robot interactions in collaboration with the ethology group of the University of Eötvös University (Hungary). The purpose of these experiments is to investigate, from an ethological point of view, how much dogs see AIBO as a conspecific. A new study shows high doses of resveratrol, a compound found in red wine, greatly heightens endurance in mice. This video from Sirtris Pharmaceuticals shows one mouse on resveratrol (right), while the mouse on the left is not. Reservatrol has also show to be a powerfuil antioxidant and has extended the lifespan of both yeast and mice in laboratory tests.
