The book written by an American student Dave Rogers a student of Henry Ellis. Dave Rogers is the American representative of the Ellis Schools of Traditional Aikido. Ellis and Eastman were students of K Abbe Sensei from 1957. They have studied with legends such as Tadashi Abe Sensei and Masahilo Nakazono Sensei, Masamichi Noro Sensei and many more teachers.
